Gilbert L. Was the best guide ever. He made the hour drive there enjoyable with his great historical knowledge and upbeat attitude. The experience at the volcano was great. Don't be afraid to float. Just go with it. Our skin felt so smooth and silky afterwards. We had a great time. Even though we didn't get to see the Pink waters since we went off season, we loved learning about it and seeing the area. Overall we loved our private tour!

So I'm down here for a wedding but I really wanted to do this excursion I am extremely happy that I chose to do private it was the best experience ever Gilberto our translator and driver was amazing he was helpful and very nice. He was punctual and we wasn't but he had so much patience with us. If you are contemplating on doing this excursion don't. Do it because you won't regret it at all do it for the experience the mud volcano was so relaxing the massage was so relaxing. The pink sea wasn't really pink but to hear about the history and see some slight pink was still a great experience. I truly enjoyed doing private because the one on one experience is the best and we got to enjoy the mud volcano in private just me and my husband. Also once you finish walking the pink sea have some fresh coconut it is delicious.

This was an absolutely incredible tour! The mud baths were incredibly relaxing and the pink sea was very interesting. Going at this time was key - there weren’t any other people there while we were. Gilberto was an incredible guide as well, he spoke perfect English and educated us throughout the whole trip. Overall amazing experience!

Was super neat to feel the mud and was much nicer to have the space to ourselves! The salt mines were cool to see and learn about but it depends on the weather whether the water is pink.

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide. He spoke English very well and which made for the 50 drive to the volcano much more relaxing. He explained everything that was going to happen before we arrived. The private tour was perfect for me and my two teen girls. He picked us up at our hotel at 7 am. There were no lines when we arrived and we had the whole experience to ourselves.We did go to the pink beach but it wasn’t pink. The guide told us the day before the color wasn’t there and offered a refund but we wanted the volcano and I’m glad we did. Definitely recommend!!

Really, I can’t recommend this tour enough! I took the 7 am slot and it was perfect. Our driver, Gilberto, picked up my boyfriend and I from our hotel at 7 on the dot. He had a really nice, well maintained and clean car and we were the only passengers. When we got to the mud volcano, since we were early, we were the only ones there and had a private experience! Definitely bring enough cash to tip them there though. After that we went to the pink sea and we’re the only ones there too. The pink coloring is dependent on weather conditions and unfortunately for us it wasn’t quite ideal, but it was still amazing to see the area and learn about the science behind it. 1000% worth your money and like they said the earlier you go the better !
