How a Rosario Islands day works
Boats leave in the morning from La Bodeguita tourist dock (in front of the Clock Tower) or from Marina Todomar in Bocagrande, depending on the island. Check-in is usually between 7:00 and 8:00 AM and you are back in Cartagena around 4:00 PM. The exact dock and times for each island are on its page and in your confirmation.
What is the port tax?
All boats to the Rosario Islands pay a national parks / port tax and a small maritime insurance. These are set by the authorities, paid in cash in Colombian pesos at the dock, and are not part of the day-pass price. Each island page shows the current amount per person.

How far are the Rosario Islands from Cartagena?
About 45–60 minutes by speedboat, depending on the island and the sea.
Can I visit the Rosario Islands with kids?
Yes. Several islands welcome children with special prices; some beach clubs and some plans are adults only. The comparison table shows which ones accept kids.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the Port Authority closes the port, the trip is moved to another date or refunded.
Do you pick me up at my hotel?
Island day passes start at the dock. If you need a ride from your hotel or the cruise terminal to the dock, we can arrange a private transfer — just ask us on WhatsApp.
