Mangata Beach Club Cartagena – Rosario Islands Day Pass
- Full day (7:20 AM – 3:00 PM)
- 2 plans: Classic and Open Bar
- Boat from Marina Todomar
- Lunch included

Mangata Beach Club is a beach club and hotel on Isla Grande, in the heart of the Rosario Islands, a short sports-boat ride from Cartagena. It is a relaxed, stylish place to spend the day: Balinese beds and lounges on the sand, a DJ every day, cocktails and an à la carte lunch by the sea.
If this is your first island trip, read our complete Rosario Islands guide before you go.
Your day at Mangata
Check in at Marina Todomar in Bocagrande at 7:20 AM. There you pay the National Parks tax and the mandatory insurance, COP 25,000 per person, strictly in cash. The sports boat takes you to Isla Grande, where you are welcomed with a glass of champagne or a natural juice and get your spot on a bed, a lounge or a sun lounger. The boat returns to Cartagena at about 3:00 PM, depending on the weather.
During the day you go snorkeling to see the sunken plane, a short trip to a small aircraft resting on the seabed (it is not a coral snorkeling tour). Back at the club you can use the kayaks and paddle boards, borrow a mask to snorkel around the club on your own, or take a bike ride around the island. There is a fresh-water shower, towel service and a DJ every day.
Lunch is à la carte, with eight dishes and a non-alcoholic drink: breaded corvina fillet with coconut rice, salad and patacones; fried fish with coconut rice, salad and patacones; grilled chicken breast with white rice, salad and sweet plantain; shrimp risotto; vegetarian pasta with sautéed vegetables; penne bolognese; chicken nuggets with French fries; or Hawaiian or ham-and-cheese pizza.
Two plans
Mangata Classic includes everything above, plus 2-for-1 cocktails all day (Cuba libre, margarita, mojito, caipiroska and tinto de verano) and an all-day beer bucket deal on national and imported beers: pay for five and the sixth is free.
Mangata Open Bar includes everything above, plus an open bar with margarita, mojito, tinto de verano and Cuba libre, and national beer (Águila) all day.
Good to know
Mangata Open Bar is for adults only (18+). On Mangata Classic the price applies to every guest aged 4 and up, with no separate child rate; for children under 4, write to us before booking. Beach shoes are recommended. Activities that are not listed in your plan are paid separately. Hotel transfers to the marina are not part of the pass, but you can add a private transfer when you book.
