Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena – Rosario Islands Day Pass
- Full day (8 AM – 4 PM)
- Adults only (18+)
- Speedboat from La Bodeguita
- Lunch included

Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena is the name many visitors hear first when they ask about a beach day in the Rosario Islands, and this day pass makes it easy to go. It is an adults-only (18+) club where a fast speedboat ride, a reserved Balinese bed, a live DJ and a Caribbean lunch come together in one booking, so you spend your hours in clear turquoise water instead of sorting out logistics.
The club suits travelers who want music and a social mood rather than a silent retreat. If you are new to the archipelago and want to understand how the islands, the national park and the boat rides fit together, start with our complete Rosario Islands guide.
How the day unfolds
Check in at around 7:30 AM at Gate 3 of the La Bodeguita tourist dock on Avenida Blas de Lezo, right in front of the Clock Tower. Before boarding you pay the port tax and the mandatory maritime insurance in cash, in Colombian pesos. These fees are set by the authorities, are not part of your booking and can change without notice. The speedboat leaves around 8:00 AM and reaches the island in about 45 minutes.
A welcome drink is waiting when you step off. From there the day is yours: settle into your Balinese bed, which is shared by up to three people, swim in the calm water and let the DJ set the pace. Lunch is a Caribbean plate, and on the Club Area plan you choose between fried fish, grilled chicken, seafood pasta or pesto pasta. Boats start the trip back to Cartagena around 3:00 PM. Times depend on the weather and Port Authority clearance, so they can shift on the day.
Who Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena is for
This is a strong pick for couples and groups of friends who like a lively atmosphere. Bachelor and bachelorette parties often choose it, and so do travelers who would rather have a reserved bed than hunt for shade. Because the boat leaves from the dock by the Clock Tower, it is also simple to reach if you are staying in or near the Old City. Since the club is strictly 18+, families with children should look at other options on our islands page.
Club Area or VIP?
The Club Area plan covers the essentials: round-trip speedboat, a welcome drink of tinto de verano or red wine, a second-row Balinese bed, the live DJ and a set lunch menu. The VIP Area plan swaps the set menu for an à-la-carte lunch with more than a dozen options and gives you access to both areas of the club, including the VIP zone.
On either plan, front-row beds cost extra and à-la-carte food and drinks beyond your plan are paid on site. Towels and hotel transfers to the dock are not included, so pack a towel and bring some cash in pesos. If you would like a ride to the dock, we can arrange a private transfer; just ask us on WhatsApp.
Pair it or compare it
Want to see more than one island in a day? The 3 Island Tour with Bora Bora, Pao Pao and Islabela includes a stop at Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena. If unlimited drinks matter most to you, the Luxury Beach Club open-bar day pass is a good alternative. You can also compare all Rosario Islands day passes side by side before you decide.
